Teton Telemark takeover

Was the best day of skiing at a resort that I’ve had. Around 100 Telemark skiers and great snow!!

 

Big Belt Yurt Trip!

 Got out on an extended weekend with the work crew plus a few others and got to check out the big belt hut just outside of Townsend in the Big Belt Mountains. 

 

Bridger Bowl Birthday Ski!!

Had a blast with a ton of friends that came out to celebrate my birthday! Despite the temperatures being pretty cold we had an awesome day and were able to explore Bridger bowl thanks to some folks who spent time in college there. Was an absolute blast and has me thinking about buying a three day pass next year...we will see!

 

Lincoln birthday ski tour

 Got out on a fun ski tour with a new friend, Dan that I've been trying to get out with for a while and it turned out super fun with fresh snow and nice temperatures.

 

Avalanche Course

Sydney and I took an intro to avalanche course at Bridger Bowl which was a great way for me to refresh on some skills and for Sydney to get an understanding of avalanche stuff. Really fun day and had a great time despite it being pretty cold!

 

Stonewall Ski Tour

 My first ski tour to the most talked about spot for folks in Helena was great. New friends and fresh snow were the theme for Jack, Brian, and I! Was a blast and some really good turns...best turns in probably three years!

 

 

Big Turnout to Try Telemark MT!

 Had a big group for trying telemark on Friday night. Lots of fun and more than one person started to feel good in the telemark turn!

 After a failed elk hunt I spotted an antelope in a field of round bails and decided to give it a go. I ended up sneaking in close enough to shoot and get an arrow in hit him even though in the heat of the moment I had forgotten my range finder in the truck....just insane!!

Wild West River fest in Cody WY

 Had a blast checking out this whitewater festival with Rhys and paddling some off the couch class 4! Got beat down in a hole or two but never had to swim...good times 

Bitteroot Thru Hike- Twin Lakes Trailhead to Blodgett TH

July 4th extended weekend!

This was a very demanding hike as much of the trail was overgrown and not maintained. 

 First night camp was were dead elk creek joins East fork of moose creek 

Second camp was at Big Sand Lake 

Third camp was at Blodgett Lake and we headed out from there. Rough going but cool areas!
