After a failed elk hunt I spotted an antelope in a field of round bails and decided to give it a go. I ended up sneaking in close enough to shoot and get an arrow in hit him even though in the heat of the moment I had forgotten my range finder in the truck....just insane!!
Had a blast checking out this whitewater festival with Rhys and paddling some off the couch class 4! Got beat down in a hole or two but never had to swim...good times
July 4th extended weekend!
This was a very demanding hike as much of the trail was overgrown and not maintained.
First night camp was were dead elk creek joins East fork of moose creek
Second camp was at Big Sand Lake
Third camp was at Blodgett Lake and we headed out from there. Rough going but cool areas!
This was a very nice hike although the google directions sent us way out of the way and a forgot my fishing reel. The scenery was outstanding....mosquitos were out in force! The car started falling apart on the way home.
Sydney and I got to go to the City of Rocks which is one of my favorite places in the high dessert of Idaho. The scenery is spectacular!
We had another great trip on the Missouri River and this time with more good friends. The weather was scary the whole time but ended up being clear for the whole trip!
Sydney and I stopped by New York City on our way to see the solar eclipse with her friends in the finger lakes in New York. The city was pretty amazing although it was rainy as I've ever seen it on day one. Such a fun trip. We went to the tenement museum, a comedy show, the 911 memorial, and really enjoyed walked around and checking out new foods. The city is a place I'd like to come back...just too much to explore!
